Halide Ions

This second part of the halogens tutorials focuses on halide ions e.g. Cl-, Br-. The reactivity is the opposite of the halogens i.e. reducing agents versus oxidising agents and more reactive up the group. The main reaction is the halide ions with H2SO4, which is a redox reaction yet again. We also look at the test for halide ions with AgNO3 to give various precipitates.
