Ionic Equations

The first method we look at is the formation of ionic equations by combining half equations i.e. cancelling electrons. This is a very important method and is used throughout A-level chemistry and beyond. We also look at it in reverse: how to take an ionic equation and get back to the original half equations. Finally, we look at the formation of ionic equations from chemical equations which involves removing spectator ions.
